The Sony company is on the go… A new version of the PlayStation 3 called Slim, which packed a 120 GB hard drive is introduced and takes less energy with a price that xbox would be doomed.. its a 299 dollars market price… not only 12oGB but they improve it to 250GB … They will sell it to Japan and  the United Kingdom and no announcement yet to the United States…The all-new version of the PS3 is set to arrive in the United Kingdom on its own starting with October 1, with a price tag of 284.99 pounds, compared with the 120 GB one that costs 249.99. On October 16, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will be an option for those looking for a bundle, and a multimedia package that includes a Blu-ray remote and the movies Wolverine and Batman: The Dark Night will be available on October 19. There are also prospects to see the new version of the PlayStation 3 packed with titles like FIFA 10 and Need for Speed: Shift. In Japan, the 250 GB PlayStation 3 Slim will arrive as part of the Final Fantasy XIII Lighting Edition. The console will be all white and will feature a pink image of the Lighting characters from the upcoming role-playing game from Square Enix. Fans of the series will be able to pick it up on December 17, the same date when Final Fantasy XIII is released, and the package will cost 41,600 Yen. For the other countries lets just wait and relax its better to be this way so that we can see if there are advantages in the  new released Playstation 3…

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata stated quite clearly that the company was not ready to release a second version of its most popular product, the Wii console. He said that it wouldn’t “happen any time in the near future” so the competition is making a move to undermine Nintendo’s success. With the release of the $299 PlayStation 3 Slim and Microsoft’s Arcade/Elite Strategy offering prices of $199 and $299, the Wii won’t be able to stand up to the technologically superior foes. Even if it reaches the $200 mark, as unconfirmed rumors would have it, Nintendo’s console will still have unstable footing on the market. In a statement released to the Financial Times over the weekend, Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada said that he would expect some improvement in the Wii line of development by 2011. This update is believed to bring the Wii to the standard of technology imposed by the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Wada believes that a new controller from Nintendo is also a possibility. He also stated “Present game machines already have a lot of functions: They are a network terminal, a Blu-ray or DVD player, and a gaming machine.” he said. “Compared to these three pillars, the [new motion] controllers are quite limited, so the impact may be small. They are an extension of the gaming function.” But just as with the Project Natal, which he believes that, “as a user interface, it’s fantastic, and I think it will become standard” the success of motion controllers will depend a lot on software implementation, as games that make use of this technology are difficult to produce and very costly, and thus few in number. Thats too bad for the Nintendo company….

Here we go guys the the PlayStation 3 is now Slim and costs just 299 dollars and the Xbox 360 will be the same price as Playstation 3…The Nintendo Wii will cost 199 dollars beginning in  October. The remarks need to be taken into context. Recent reports from retailers are showing the impact of the new, cheaper and slimmer PlayStation 3 is pretty significant, with retailers reporting huge sale increases and with the Sony-made home console having its best ever week on the Japanese market. This is a bad news for the Xbox and nintendo but good news for us…

After Sony Xperia X1 that was announced last year here comes Xperia X2 Smartphone which I think will also hit the market. I was not able to see Sony Xperia X1 in action but I hope to see this one as soon it will be available in the net. Just for information here are the specification of Sony Xperia X2
