The Samsung Wave that can be admired in the said photos below (which we hope are showing the real thing), should include a 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, along with a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, flash and 720p video capabilities, a 1GHz processor inside, 2GB of internal memory, HSDPA and WI-FI b/g/n connectivity options, a 3.5 mm jack, and Samsung’s Touchwiz 3.0 UI on top of the bada OS. The handset is also expected to feature Divx player, a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space to be included in the equation, an Aluminum body, and more, while being only 10.9mm thick.

A marathon winner was disqualified for using an iPod… The person in question, 27-year-old Jennifer Goebel, was spotted wearing an iPod in one of the race’s official photos, and was subsequently disqualified, much to her surprise. And while you might wonder just why this happened, the answer is in fact a fairly simple one: she was an elite athlete.
So, apparently, in the officially USA Track and Field sanctioned competitions, the use of an iPod (or any other electronic device, for that matter) is forbidden for top runners, because it might provide them with an unfair advantage, namely the possibility of listening to pre-recorded instructions that would allow them to know just how to pace themselves through various stages of the respective race. However, mid-pack runners are allowed to use their iPods or music players freely, probably because they don’t stand a chance of winning the respective races anyway. Unfortunately for Jennifer Goebel, the Lakefront Marathon serves as the Wisconsin USATF marathon championship.

California-based chip maker introduced the next-generation line of desktop graphics cards…the single-slot GeForce GTX 260 looks pretty much real, according to a couple of leaked images and specifications that have recently surfaced on the Internet. Unfortunately, the technical specs are somewhat sketchy, at this time, but the card should be designed on a 55nm GT200b graphics processing unit, coupled with 216 processing cores, 896MB of GDDR3 memory, a Vapor Chamber technology-enabled heatsink and two 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors, which can be noticed in the available photos.
