According to a dedicated webpage on the company’s custom-care website, there are a couple of Aspire models that may overheat under specific conditions. The list of affected units includes the AS3410, AS3810T, AS3810TG, AS3810TZ and AS3810TZG models, which were manufactured prior to September 15, 2009. Apparently, in these units, the microphone cable may overheat “when extreme pressure is applied repeatedly to the left palm rest.” The units, Acer informs, could become deformed and the system may malfunction, which is why users are advised to check if their laptops are among the listed models and take advantage of the recall program. Acer has announced that customers who will notice the aforementioned issues, or will check to see if their models are listed on this website, will be able to take advantage of said recall program. The company has promised to proactively replace the microphone and the affected units, consequently eliminating overheating.

Siemens has integrated Texas Instruments’ TMS320DM648 digital media processor into its latest SISTORE MX 3G, a device that it considers to be a hybrid DVR (digital video recording) device. The SISTORE MX 3G is about eight times better than previous-generation devices, has support for both analog and IP systems and by following fast paced action better it allows for more detailed and accurate images. The SISTORE MX 3G is so versatile that it allows for simultaneous recording of a number of 16 channels of analog and 16 channels of IP cameras. It records at 4CIF resolution means it can provide as much as 500 images per second. Two built-in Ethernet ports make sure your system will always be connected and monitoring. The SISTORE MX is available in six models.

It is all about nine walkman players divided into four different lines in two series. 740 series, comprised of the NW-S740 and NW-S740K lines, which include no less than five different models. Those from the NW-S740 line provide a noise-canceling feature, and are available in 32GB, 16GB and 8GB flavors. The NW-S740K line, on the other hand, includes only the 16GB and 8GB versions and provides noise canceling with the help of a dedicated speaker. The S-640 series, which includes the NW-S640 and NW-S640K lines. The only major difference between all the four models included in this series (two 16GB and two 8GB versions) is represented by whether they come accompanied by a pair of speakers or not. It will arrive in stores across Japan in October but dont know the price yet…

Am I dreaming??? this is the new iphone 4G concept. The design is inspired in the MacBook Air and it would probably offer us everything we’re missing in current iPhone models. In the picture here the iPhone 4G is engaged in videochat while Google is quietly displaying the GPS location of your friends. Naturally this iPhone has a front camera, a better processor and it knows how to multitask.
