The Qosmio X500 laptop in two configurations, both of which are powerful enough to run Windows 7 at maximum capacity. The Qosmio X505-Q830 laptop features an 18.4-inch HD TruBrite diagonal widescreen display with 1680 x 945 native resolution, a high-speed 7200RPM 320GB hard drive, 4GB of memory and is priced at $1,449.99 MSRP.
The Qosmio X505-Q850 laptop features an 18.4-inch HD TruBrite diagonal widescreen display with 1920 x 1080 native resolution, a dual hard drive configuration with a 64GB solid state drive and a high-speed 7200RPM 320GB hard drive, 6GB of memory and is priced at $1,899.99 MSRP.
Toshiba will also offer the mini NB205 series of netbooks, which will support only the starter version of Windows 7 and will feature a 10.1-inch diagonal widescreen display, full-sized keyboard, laptop-sized touchpad and nine-hour battery life. The maker will provide the mini NB205 in multiple configurations with either 160GB or 250GB hard drive configurations and a choice of five color finishes: Sable Brown, Frost White, Indigo Blue, Posh Pink and Onyx Black. Pricing for these netbooks starts at $399.99 MSRP.

The new models ProBook 6445b and the ProBook 6545b, two laptops designed for business users, while the HP Elite 7000 comes as a business desktop PC. According to HP, the new ProBook laptops will provide users with a choice for a 14-inch and a 15.6-inch high-definition LED-backlit widescreen display, but also the latest AMD processors and graphics solutions. Thanks to the adoption of the AMD processors, the battery life is said to have improved with about 60 percent, for about 8 hours and 15 minutes. In addition, HP also claims that performance has improved as well, with about 39 percent. Built on an Intel P55 platform, the new business desktop PC is designed to support the latest Core i5 and Core i7 processors, up to 8GB of memory, 1 TB hard drive and optional solid state drives. Additional features include a SATA DV-ROM drive, SATA SuperMulti Lightscribe DVD writer with optional Blu-Ray and a 22-1-in media card reader. The system is preloaded with a series of security applications, including Credential Manager for HP ProtectTools, Norton Online Backup and HP Power Manager.

The Asus company has announced the launch of its UnLimited Series (UL) of notebooks in the UK. The ultraportable 13.3-inch UL30 model, users will be able to take advantage of Intel’s CULV platform inside a lightweight design that offers a range of features, including the much-anticipated Windows 7 operating system. In addition, all three notebooks, including the 15.6-inch UL50AG and UL50VG, have been featured with a brushed aluminum chassis and Altec Lansing speakers. The three include a multitouch trackpad, webcam and up to 500GB of storage space. In addition, according to ASUS, with the company’s own Power4Gear technology, which is designed to provide users with a longer battery life by going through four power profiles, including high-performance, entertainment, “quiet office” and battery saving, the systems will enable users to take advantage of up to 12 hours of battery life. It will available in October 22 and costs for £599 inc. VAT, £699 inc. VAT and £799 for the UL30, UL50AG and the UL50VG, respectively.

The Fujitsu company  has just announced the introduction of its new LIFEBOOK P8110, coming as a 12.1-inch notebook that integrates Intel’s latest CULV processors. The system has been featured with Intel’s Core 2 Duo SU9600 processor, clocked at 1.6GHz and combined with 4GB of RAM. An optional 128GB SSD is available as a choice, providing users with faster boot times, but also a longer-lasting battery life. The 12.1-inch WXGA LED display is most likely powered by an Intel integrated. he laptop also comes with HDMI, three USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet connector, VGA and the usual audio in/out ports. A memory card reader is also available, alongside a DVD drive, dual-microphone array and a 2MP webcam. New LIFEBOOK P8110 notebook system is expected to become available in Europe, the Middle East and Asia

The Panasonic company was very quite in there products for the last months but surprisingly the company has just introduced the new Let’s note F8, R8, W8, T8 laptop models, but also two new S8 and N8 models. the four F8, R8, W8 and T8 are pretty much the same as the previous versions, but will now be offered with the upcoming Windows 7 operating system and a Windows 7 to XP downgrade program. New S8 and N8 systems, the company has decided to provide its customers with a choice for a compact, powerful PC that is powered by some of Intel’s latest mobile processors. According to available specifications, the R8 should be powered by the Core 2 Duo SU9600, running at 1.6GHz. At the same time, the N8 and S8 systems, neither of which includes a built-in optical drive, will feature a more powerful Core 2 Duo P8700 processor, clocked at 2.53GHz and coupled with a 250GB HDD and the Intel GM45 Express Chipset with 765MB of VRAM, 2 or 4GB of RAM and featuring a 12.1-inch WXGA LCD. The S8 and the N8 models have been featured with WiMAX and WiFi a/b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, SDHC, HDMI Out, and standard battery life of eight hours… so far we just wait for further annoncement for Panasonic…

Its better late than never… The Bookeen launches there new e-book reader called Cybook Opus… The design is cool a 5 inches size and a round form with a slim type figure…This e-book reader comes with a 1GB of internal storage, a memory card slot that can be outfitted with a microSD card for expanding memory capacity as well as a 600 x 800 screen that’s viewable in direct sunlight, 12 display fonts as well as a battery life that’s said to last for about 8000 consecutive page turns. The Lexar announces the lunch of the Crucial DDR3-1333MHz notebook memory modules, 1GB and 2GB are available. These new modules have been specifically designed to support Intel’s new Core i7 mobile processors. Jardine, Lexar Media’s senior worldwide product manager says “Intel’s new Core i7 mobile processors are powering the first notebook platform to use DDR3 memory exclusively, bringing the benefits of DDR3 to mainstream and corporate mobile notebook users alike,” he also says “ Compared to notebooks that use DDR2 memory, DDR3 technology offers the ability to provide higher memory bandwidths while still using less power, which can equate to better user experiences – not only from a better performing system, but potentially longer battery life as well.” The notebook-ready DDR3 memory modules are available in dual-channel kits of 2GB and 4GB, providing users with a choice for the level of performance their system can achieve. The modules have each been designed to work at 1333MHz and with CL9 latencies, while the voltage rating is at 1.5V. 4GB module will be available for US$96.
