The Samsung Wave that can be admired in the said photos below (which we hope are showing the real thing), should include a 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, along with a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, flash and 720p video capabilities, a 1GHz processor inside, 2GB of internal memory, HSDPA and WI-FI b/g/n connectivity options, a 3.5 mm jack, and Samsung’s Touchwiz 3.0 UI on top of the bada OS. The handset is also expected to feature Divx player, a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space to be included in the equation, an Aluminum body, and more, while being only 10.9mm thick.

1. No 3g video calls over 3g n/w.

2. Bluetooth is only limited to headset use (no file transfer).

3. NO camera settings what so ever.

4. NO auto focus, NO flash.

5. You cannot forward a SMS message, you have to retype it.

7. Mediokre camera (only2MP camera it carries is worst camera I’ve ever seen….. photos look like they have come out of a VGA camera) Nokia 95 has a 5 mega pixel camera and full screen video recording and TV-out.

The Acer Liquid A1 is expected to become available for purchase on November 28 in Spain, but there are great chances that it will come to more markets in Europe around the same date. One thing that is sure about the phone is that it has the looks, and it has proved it recently in a series of images that show it dressed up in red. The Qualcomm Snapdragon chip is not the only attractive hardware spec the phone comes to the market with, for it also features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display that boasts a WVGA resolution, a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, a 3.5mm headset jack, Wi-Fi capabilities, built-in GPS receiver, and integration with various social networking sites, including Facebook, Flickr, or Twitter.

The handset sports 512 MB of flash storage, just the amount needed by WM 7, as WMPoweruser notes, and a 1GHz processor, which should also work just fine with the future release of the operating system. It includes the Qualcomm MSM 8250 processor clocked at 1GHz, 512 MB of RAM, a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that boasts a 480 x 800 pixel WVGA resolution and support for 65k colors, “Multi-Touch capability for WM7 Chassis,” a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, LED flash and video recording capabilities, HSPA/UMTS 2100/900 MHz and GSM/GPRS/EDGE quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) / HSDPA 7.2Mbps / HSUPA / EGPRS functionality, and built-in GPS receiver. The device also comes with G-sensor, proximity and ambient light sensor, FM Radio, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 b/g) connectivity, Micro-USB slot, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, and a microSD memory card slot (with SDHC support) for additional storage space. A 1.230 mAh battery is also included in the package, as well as support for a variety of applications and services. The Windows Mobile 6.5 platform will also provide users with access to Microsoft Outlook Mobile, ActiveSync, Internet Explorer Mobile, Office Mobile, Windows Live!, Smart Dial and Microsoft Windows Mobile Update, as well as to a series of value-added applications. HTC Leo also comes with an array of messaging features, including email and IM, as well as with various Web functionalities, including support for social networking sites.

The Samsung Electronics just announced the first 12-megapixel camera phone that sports 3x optical zoom lens. The new handset is set to come to the market in Korea in early October… The phone’s 3x optical zoom is the fist one available within a 12-megapixel camera phone, and should provide users with the possibility to take great shots even at long distances. Moreover, the device also sports a 2x digital zoom, which enables even more far close-ups. Other specific features are also present with the device, such as Touch Auto-Focus (AF), a Smart Auto feature, Xenon flash, shake reduction, face recognition, a rapid image saving feature (2 seconds) or high-quality video recording functionality, 1280 x 720-pixel at 30 frames per second. Other specs of the new handset also include Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0 HS (micro USB) connectivity, support for WCDMA (2100 MHz), GSM(900), DCS(1800), PCS(1900) Roaming, DMB (Mobile TV), 4GB of internal memory, a MicroSD memory card slot with support for 32GB of additional storage space, and a 1,100 mAh battery. The new Samsung AMOLED 12M measures 115.8 x 56.9 x 16.3 mm.

Acer will join the competition,four Windows Mobile 6.5-powered handsets. Acer should deliver on October 6, news on the company’s Android-based A1 smartphone emerged….There are great chances that Acer A1 will become available for purchase before 2009 is gone, while featuring a price tag of $568 (€389) unlocked. The Acer A1 is reportedly powered by a Qualcomm 8250 768 MHz processor and sports 512 MB of ROM and 256 MB of RAM. At the same time, it also comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display that boasts a WVGA resolution, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus capabilities, as well as the Donut flavor of Android on board (Android 1.6). Other specifications of the phone also include Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP and Wi-Fi: IEEE 802.11 b/g connectivity features, along with a 3.5 mm headset jack, a MicroSD memory card slot for additional storage space, and a 1350 mAh Lithium-ion battery that can deliver up to 300 minutes of talk time or 400 hours of standby time. The new Android phone measures 115 x 62.5 x 12.5 mm and weighs 135 grams with the battery included. It comes to the market with support for HSPA/WCDMA: 850/1900/2100 MHz (up to 2 Mbps up-link and 7.2 Mbps down-link speeds) and for quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE:850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequencies.

The first one, the 7-inch eo a7330D Ultra-Mobile PC, is touted as the first 7-inch tablet to feature an auto-switching dual mode active digitizer / resistive touch screen panel developed by Wacom. This model targets the hospitality, home automation and industrial control systems segment, sports dual, hot swappable battery packs, integrated wireless connectivity, as well as a “fit-in-your-hand” design. The eo a7330D is powered by the Intel Atom Z530P processor and comes standard with 1.0 GB RAM, 1.8-inch 80 GB HDD (SSD drives optional), sunlight viewable screen, dual hot swappable batteries, built-in wireless capabilities including GPS, 802.11a/b/g/n Dual Channel WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and the auto-switching dual mode digitizer/touch screen for highly accurate handwriting recognition and finger touch control.

The eo TufTab a7230XD Rugged Ultra-Mobile PC is a lightweight, same auto-switching active digitizer / passive touch screen as the eo a7330D, this device is ably suited for outdoor fieldwork, data collection, warehousing, mobile point of sale and other work functions that endure extreme handling, powered by the Intel Atom Z530P processor, the eo TufTab a7230XD comes standard with 1.0GB RAM, 80GB HDD (SSD optional), 802.11a/b/g/n Dual Channel WiFi, 2.0 Mpixel Still/Video camera with auto focus, dual hot swappable batteries, integrated RFID reader, built-in 1D/2D barcode scanner, 1Gb Ethernet, RS-232 Serial port, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and TPM v1.2. Built-in 3G/3.5G WWAN module is optional.

the Sahara NetSlate a230T, a 12.1-inch slate-style Tablet PC described as an entry-level touch screen tablet designed for on-the-go professionals and companies looking for a true slate-style tablet solution, but not necessarily with the enhanced feature-set or processing power of the existing Sahara Slate PC i400 series of Tablet PCs. It shares the same body design and form factor of its i400 series siblings, but is powered by the Intel Atom N270 processor and comes standard with 1.0GB RAM (upgradeable to 2.0GB) a 120GB HDD (SSD optional), 802.11a/b/g/n Dual Channel WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and an optional built-in 3G/3.5G WWAN module.

It will be out on October but prices are not yet mentioned…
