turn off the  iphone and press next

then wait for updating data / jailbreaking

Yesterday I post about the  O2 UK would soon lose exclusivity on Apple’s iPhone but guess what the vodafone UK also carries the iPhone in UK. Apple and Vodafone have reached and agreement through which both the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS will become available for purchase in the UK and Ireland in early 2010 on Vodafone’s airwaves. another carrier in the country announced yesterday that the iPhone would soon become available for its users, namely Orange UK. The same as Orange, Vodafone has put in place. The only carrier that hasn’t announced the future inclusion of Apple’s handset in its offering is T-Mobile, although the carrier stated previously that it would sell the iPhone even if that meant bringing it to the UK market from outside the country and losing money in the process. However, due to the expected merger between Orange and T-Mobile, the availability of the iPhone with one of the carriers implies its presence in the other one’s offering as well. O2 has been rumored to lose its exclusivity deal on the iPhone for quite some time now, yet nothing official emerged until Monday. One other carrier that might soon see its marriage to the iPhone come to an end is US-based AT&T.

“Orange UK and Apple have reached an agreement to bring iPhone 3G and 3GS to Orange UK customers later this year. Orange globally now offers iPhone in 28 countries and territories,” is what the UK operator says. Moreover, it already put in place a page where those interested in the iPhone can register to receive updates on the device. O2, the carrier that has the iPhone exclusively in the country since 2007, has been already rumored to lose the exclusivity deal on the device in the very near future, and it seems that rumors proved real in the end. The Palm Pre was announced by O2 that will come out on October 16, the first mobile phone that comes to the market running under Palm’s webOS platform. the Palm Pre will become available for its users for free upon the signing of a 2-year contract agreement on a plan in O2 that starts at £44.05 per month, as well as to those opting for an 18-month service agreement on a plan starting at £73.41 per month. The handset will come with unlimited UK data browsing over O2’s HSDPA network, as well as with unlimited access to 7,500 Wi-Fi hotspots available via The Cloud and BT Openzone, including the Palm Touchstone Charging Dock, which enables users to charge the Palm Pre without wires. The Touchstone can be bought along with Back Cover for a price of £44.11, offering £10 in savings. In addition, the webOS-based handset will also come with Palm Synergy features, multitasking capabilities and support for 3G and secure Wi-Fi networks.
